Essay Contest
Write on this year's topic for a shot at scholarship dollars. Students compete at the club level first, then advance through the district.

Our club took part in the Optimist International Visual Arts Competition, with student work judged and prizes presented at a club meeting. A member subcommittee organizes it each year.

Out on the course, too
Not every Optimist contest is won with a pen. Junior golfers play through qualifiers toward the Optimist International Junior Golf Championships in Florida — one of the largest junior tournaments in the world, and a program our district has sent players to for years.
